I’m trying to practice “don’t think bad thoughts”, I have a bad tendency to spiral. How do you practice “don’t think bad thoughts” without falling into avoiding uncomfortable thoughts?
This has helped. A lot of negative spiral thoughts will just atrophy if I exhale their energy away. I’m not convinced I’m not just avoiding some of them but maybe that’s it’s own negative thought

Try "do nothing" meditation
